Biography

Mohamed Lamin Kamara was educated at Njala University (BSc Hons Social Work) and University of Makeni (LLB, awaiting graduation). He served as Secretary to the Chairmen of both Bo District Council and Bombali District Council, gaining experience in local governance, administration, leadership and community development. His aspiration is to become a principled, innovative and transformative young leader who uses law, social development and public service to empower young people, strengthen communities and contribute meaningfully to national development. If given the opportunity, he would promote accountable leadership, youth inclusion, practical community-driven solutions and stronger collaboration between young people, government and development partners to create sustainable impact in Sierra Leone.

Role & Contribution at DCNCD

Mohamed Lamin Kamara spearheads community engagement, legal advisory support, and local government liaisons for DCNCD. Holding qualifications in Social Work (Njala University) and Law (University of Makeni), and having served as Secretary to the Chairmen of both Bo and Bombali District Councils, he bridges community needs with institutional policymaking.
