Biography

Stepheny Emely Amy Sawyerr holds a Higher National Diploma in Human Resources Management from Luban College of Social Science and Technology. She has spent over a year working with MYCRO to advance Nonviolent Communication (NVC) across West Africa, educating communities on how to build stronger, more empathetic relationships. As a young leader, she aspires to transform how West African communities handle conflict by embedding empathy and practical peacebuilding into local leadership. Given the opportunity, she will integrate NVC tools into local institutions to help citizens resolve deep-seated disagreements constructively and build a safer, more unified country.

Role & Contribution at DCNCD

Stepheny Emely Amy Sawyerr oversees program design, implementation, and educational outreach for DCNCD. With specialized qualifications in Human Resources Management and over a year of hands-on NVC community training across West Africa, she coordinates training sessions, community dialogues, and institutional integration of Nonviolent Communication principles.
